Mission Statement: The goal of the Dallastown Youth Basketball Organization is for each child to grow, compete and succeed as a basketball player and individual on a team that is appropriate to his/her age and ability.   Full DYBO Parent Overview here
                                               DYBO PARENTS' CODE OF ETHICS
DYBO exists to provide the best possible environment in which YOUTH can learn the fundamentals of the game of BASKETB ALL. Good sportsmanship will be stressed as skills are taught in practice and further developed in competitive LEAGUE games.
+ I will place the emotional and physical well-being of my child ahead of any personal desire to win.
+ I will insist that my child play in a safe and healthy environment.
+ I will respect the facilities used for practices and games, and be responsible for those under my control to do the same.
+ I will ask my child to treat other players, coaches, fans, and officials with respect.
+ I will encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all players, coaches, and officials at every practice and game.
+ I will remember that the game is for children and not adults.

VOLUNTEERS Needed: The DYBO has grown considerably over the past few years, which is truly a blessing. However it also presents a few challenges as well. We desperately need parent volunteers to devote some of their time and effort so that we can continue to run the program successfully.  If interested, please send an email to wildcats@dallastownybo.com and indicate what function you’d be able to assist with.
REMINDERS:

o   There will be no Gatorade or drinks other than water allowed in the Dallastown gyms this year.  Please bring water to practices and games for your players.

o   If school closes due to weather, all practices for that night are canceled.
